1. Early Bird 

Set in the heart of the Old Market, Early Bird takes the brunch experience seriouslyserving it all day, every day. The menu is bold and unapologetically indulgent. Favorites include the chicken fried steak, gravy-laden hash holes, and their signature glazed donut that's practically the size of a plate. 

And let's talk drinks: their build-your-own mimosa board is part mixology, part morning celebration. Choose from seasonal juice blends, pop a bottle of bubbly, and make it your own. 

  • Hours: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily 
  • Must-try: the Spicy Bloody Mary 

Since Early Bird doesn't accept reservations, plan to arrive early on weekends to secure your table without a long wait.

2. Jams An American Grill-Old Market 

A longtime staple in Omaha's brunch scene, Jams Old Market blends classic comforts with playful twists. The coconut chicken and waffles are crispy, sweet, and unforgettable. Or try the skillet biscuits with brie, prosciutto, and fig jam for something decadent. Their bottomless mimosas are perfectly poured, and the patio space gives this location serious weekend brunch energy. 

  • Hours: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays 
  • Gluten-free options available 

Since brunch is only available on Sundays, booking a table in advance is recommended to secure your spot—especially if you want patio seating. 


3. Louie M's Burger Lust 

Louie M's may sound like a burger joint (and it is) but their brunch menu is full of surprises. The Hangover Burger—with bacon, fried egg, and chipotle mayo—is a go-to for hearty appetites. Try their stuffed French toast or breakfast burrito for a mix of sweet and savory in one visit. 

Bonus: their blood orange mimosa flight is both beautiful and refreshingly bright. It's hard not to order another round. 

  • Hours: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • The Hangover Burger is listed as "The Hangover Jones" available only for weekend brunch 

Parking is free in the Deer Park shopping center lot. They don't accept reservations so get there before noon on the weekends.

4. Upstream Brewing Company–Old Market 

Brunch at a brewery? Yes, please. Upstream Brewing offers a Sunday buffet that covers all the brunch bases—made-to-order omelettes, carving stations, and endless breakfast favorites like fresh sweet and savory pastries and applewood-smoked bacon and pork sausage links. Don't forget to nosh on the beer-bread French toast and biscuits and gravy!  

Their house beers complement everything on the menu. Try the brunch punch bowl (ideal for sharing) which takes morning cocktails to new heights. 

  • Hours: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays 
  • Buffet price: $25 (excluding drinks) 

Your buffet ticket lets you come back through every station as many times as you like, so you can try a little bit of everything. 


5. Le Peep – Pacific Street 

Le Peep serves up made-from-scratch brunch classics with a crisp, West Coast vibe. Try the lemon ricotta pancakes, avocado BLT, or a flaky quiche. They focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to ensure every dish highlights peak-season produce. The bottomless farm-fresh mimosas are mixed with rotating, farm-fresh juice blends--apple, pear, or seasonal berry. If you prefer coffee, Le Peep partners with Omaha-based Stories Coffee, locally roasted for peak flavor and aroma.

Call-ahead seating is available. Reserve your spot (indoors or on the patio) before heading over to skip the weekend wait.
